The Band

Diese junge Gruppe von Musikern wurde am 1. July 2013 in Freiburg gegründet. Als Vorband von renommierten Gruppen wie „Soneros de Verdad“ begeistern sie ihr Publikum mit einer Mischung selbstkomponierter Lieder und alten kubanischen Son(g)s.

Anichi Perez

Studied classical guitar at the Music Conservatory in Quito/Ecuador. Through his passion for dance (which he is currently practizing professionally) he discovered his love for Jazz and Cuban/Latin music. In Ny and Havanna he had the pleasure and honor to study cuba`s most emblematic instrument "Tres" with non other than Renesito Avich, Pancho Amat and Nelson Gonzales. With SCR he combines his knowledge as a dancer and musician to offer the audience a unique performance and an unforgetable night full of Salsa/Son/Timba/Jazz.

Pablo Beltrán


Born in Bogotá, Colombia. Started his musical life learning the piano, guitar and Bass. Studied composition at Los Andes University in Bogota. He started to play Salsa in 2005 with the "Orquesta Palo Pa' Rumba" as Bassist in Bogotá and after that founded and conducted his own Salsa Project "Orquesta Estación Macondo" where he also perform his own compositions and arrangements. In 2013 arrived in Germany to wide his studies in composition and Film-music at the University of Music Freiburg. At the moment he lives in Konstanz, working as freelance composer, instructor and performer in several ensambles of different genres.

Pablo Perez

Pablo spent his early years in Ecuador where he came close to Salsa, the music he loves. His desire to learn about this genre in its entirety brought him to a Dance Academy in Freiburg, starting thus his dance education. Many visits to Cuba followed, where he also learnt Percussion from the world-famous musician José Luis “Changuito” Quintana. Pablo now incorporates elements of the Afro- Cuban culture and its rhythm in many of his songs.

Amik Guerra

Born in Havana, Cuba. In 1992, Amik Guerra graduated in trumpet, percussion and arrangement from the ‘Escuela Nacional de Instructores de Arte’ in Havana. At the age of 19 Amik started a professional career at the Septeto Nacional Ignacio Piñeiro, Cuban Heritage of Culture. Just 2 years later (1994) he arrived in Torino, Italy to start what has evolved into a successful path as a trumpeter and arranger for several international artists. In 2004 his way brought him to Switzerland and 2 years later to the Principality of Liechtenstein. Where he is actually living, combined with international traveling as a musician and teaching work. Over the years he has gained a lot of experience in various facets of music - such as Pop, Jazz, Latin Jazz, Salsa, Reggae and Indie.
